Yesterday we had a fireside with the YSAs in the ward, it was designed to give them a place to be on christmas since many of them are far from home, and many of them are refugees. We decided for the devotional to talk about Christmas and the Restoration, with it being Joseph Smith's birthday too, we talked about the prophesies of Christ's coming, and then we showed the church's bible video of the nativity. It was really peaceful, and I really enjoyed that combination. We then talked about the apostasy, and about how the gospel was restored through joseph. I was quite scared, right after we talked about christ, then a family of non-members came in and all of a sudden we were talking about Joseph Smith as a Christmas message. I was praying very hard (It wasn't my turn to teach, since I taught the beginning, so all I could do was pray), and they rather enjoyed it! I think it was God's plan, not ours. I just needed to be humble and accept his plan.
