The first pictures are from a service project that we just finished at a member family where we cut down several trees and managed not to do any permanent harm with a chain saw.
Yesterday (Wednesday the 26 of August 2015) we had Zone Training and interviews, so I got to talk to President Kohler personally. He's so cool. That's the good news, but the bad news is that the interviews took so long with everyone that we missed our train and had to take one an hour or two later. That was fun because we got to check out the Zurich Hauptbahnhof for an hour or so, and got president to drive us from the stake center to Bahnhof. His son just left on a mission to Moldova, and he told us about how he got his mission call while Elder Bednar was staying at the mission home after the big mission conference about 4 months ago. I thought that would be so cool, to have an apostle in your home!
Anyway, since interviews went over, we had to take a later train. Both the Singen Elders and us were on that train together, which made the time go fast (they are pretty cool, Elder Rhalf and I talked at length about Zelda and Super Nintendo), but they got off in Singen, so we were alone for a while. We left the Zurich Hauptbahnhof at about 7:05, then took the train through Schaffhausen and Singen (the other elders got off there), then it went and dropped us off at Rottweil. We then took a small train from there to Schwenningen. We then walked home and got a pizza from the Döner shop around the corner from our apartment. We finally got home at 10:00, and we were so tired!
