A few answers to a few questions.......
We do do a lot of driving. At the moment, we're just trying to clean out the area book, and visit old investigators, see if they're still interested. I don't think we have ever found one home though. We do some good less active work though.
We can drive as missionaries only 120 Km/h on the autobahn, most other highways are 100, with some sections at 70 and 80, and in town its limited to either 50 or 30, I'm not quite sure. We drive some sort of Hundai, I'll try to send a picure next time.We can only drive if we are assigned to drive the vehicle, but I am allowed to drive for 6 months with a Utah license. Sometime during that time I'll get it transferred to a german licence. Coming from Utah I don't have to take a test to do that.
We went on an exchange last Friday with the zone leaders, and went finding in Tuttlingen, and found 9 people! It was crazy, and I talked to my first person on the street there! Unfortunately she wasn't interested. That was really fun, and we met this one lady who thought we were police, and she was standing in the gutter letting the water cool down her feet, and she panicked and backpedaled while explaining! We managed to make her understand we weren't police, and we had a fun discussion .
The members are super nice, but we keep it to only a couple of eating appointments a week. We do lunch and dinner though, and its been amazing food so far, but not that much different than what we eat at home. We eat a lot of noodles in the apartment!
Elder Holm is awesome, I spend a huge amount of time explaining minecraft to him everyday! He has so many questions, and he can't wait to try it. We play guitar together, and we have lots of fun listening to talks. There's one talk about the dead sea scrolls that is just mind blowing, I'll see if I can find more info about it, but the community that wrote them sounds just like an LDS community. Also the BYU talk on faith "His grace is sufficient", you might have already heard it, is amazing! So cool.
We had a baptism for a kid in the branch, and when we got here to prepare, the basement (where the font is) was entirely filled with fog. We stopped the water, and let the fog out the windows, but it was hilarious because it was so-oo foggy!
Anyway, I'm sorry that this is kind of short, I'm running low on time, but I am soo glad to see the blessings in your lives as I'm here.
